Explore Egypt, Learn Arabic

Cost: $2,500 plus airfare and some meals
AMEI is organizing a Cultural Immersion Program for undergraduate and graduate students this summer! The program is designed as an introduction to the history, language, and culture of Egypt. Students will attend beginning Arabic (Modern Standard Arabic & Egyptian Dialect) lessons at International House Cairo ILI. A professional tour guide will lead students on daily visits to Ancient, Medieval, and Modern sites in Cairo as well as one overnight trip to Alexandria.
Only 10 students will be accepted into the program. Airfare and some meals are not included. Students will travel as a group to/from Pittsburgh and Cairo. Accommodations will be provided by International House Cairo – ILI apartments.
